Greece’s Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said that capital controls have not been considered for the country and would go against the logic of a monetary union.
Asked if such controls were discussed, he said: “of course not, capitals controls and the monetary union are a contradiction in terms. We should never contemplate it.”
